Your involvement can be tailored to meet your interst and your needs.  You can be involvement as much oras little as you choose.  The following is a proposed journey for somebody choosing to get involved.

  2. Participate in ‘The Co-production Experience’ (Taster/Half Day/Full Day)
  3. Digital Inclusion – access support to be connected
  4. Participate in Webinars and online meetings
  5. Provide feedback to the health and social care system – compliments, comments and complaints (e.g. Friends and Family Test, Patient and Advisory Liaison Service, submit health yellow card reports, contact GP regarding research opportunities).
  6. Join the East of England Citizens’ Senate
  7. Sign up for the NIHR Involvement Newsletter and apply for research opportunities
  8. Sign up with local research institutes in your area and apply for research opportunities e.g.

  9. Complete the NHS Peer Leaders Development Programme
  10. Co-facilitate ‘The Co-production Experience’ within your community with the option to be a community champion
  11. Join your local Integrated Care Board (ICB) Readers Panel
  12. Join your local GP Patient Participation Group
  13. Join your local Patients Group (e.g. Dacorum Patients Group or a condition specific patient/carer group)
  14. Join your local ICB Patient Engagement Forum and/or County Council Coproduction Board.
