Who is it for?

NHS volunteers who have an interest in understanding the health and social care environment and/or with responsibility for improving the health of communities.

Course objectives

By the end of the course participants will be able to recognise the key stakeholders in the health and social care environment and understand how to influence them. Participants will be able to use appropriate tools and methods to influence health and social care.

Type of learning

Online course with a full day face-to-face assessment session.

Duration of course: 12 weeks.

Assessment: 30 hours of study and a final assessment session. Course date: Ongoing

Before you apply: Please note places are limited and priority consideration will be given to NHS England volunteers/Patient and Public Voice (PPV) Partners. Participants are asked to pay a deposit to the course provider to secure a place. The deposit is refunded on completion of the course.
